Rouen is the capital of the Normandy in the north of France (one hour away from Paris). It's a port City on the banks of the River Seine. I have lived three months in this beautiful City. I had the feeling of living inside a fairy tale. His beautiful houses with half-timbered walls. his streets and gothic architecture gave me the feeling of living in the1400s. This was also the city where Joan of Arc was condemned and burned at the stake in the same square where the Saint Joan of Arc church is now built in honor of her. Personally always liked this character and it was another reason why I love this little city.

Cathedral Notre-Dame de Rouen

The Cathedral of Rouen is a religious monument with a Romanesque part built in 1030 and a Gothic part built in 1145. The cathedral was completed in 1506 and declared a historical monument in 1862.
